DescriptionThis is an INTERNAL ONLY posting for current Springfield-Greene County 911 Emergency Communications employees only.***The Springfield-Greene County 911 Emergency Communications Department is committed to efficiently and compassionately answering the public's 911 calls for emergency service response.As 911 Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising 911 Telecommunicators and 911 Telecommunicator Leads and will participate in daily operations. Additionally, you will oversee shift dispatching and call taking duties. You may be assigned to special projects as needed or operate public safety dispatching equipment as assigned.Qualifications And RequirementsExperience, Education, and TrainingRequires one year of consecutive experience as a 911 Telecommunicator Lead with the Springfield-Greene County 911 Emergency Communications Department performing emergency communications/dispatch work;ANDMust retain status as a certified Communications Training Officer (CTO) throughout appointment.Licensing/CertificationMust possess and maintain current certification for Missouri Uniform Law Enforcement System (MULES); Must possess a valid driver's license.
