This role will focus on cost transparency, operational efficiency, and provide the business with understanding of costs. Responsibilities • Cost System Management: Develop, implement, and maintain robust cost accounting systems, policies, and procedures to enhance reporting accuracy. • Inventory Control: Oversee the accurate valuation of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods. • Financial Analysis: Analyze production and purchasing costs, manufacturing variances (labor, overhead, materials), and gross margin results to identify cost-saving opportunities and explanations of changes. • Standard Costing: Establish and routinely update standard costs for materials and labor, ensuring they reflect current manufacturing or purchasing realities. • Business Partnership: Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and R&D teams to understand cost drivers and support strategic decision-making. • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts for Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and manufacturing operations.Salary 120,000 - 140,000
