Warehouse Leads will develop their leadership qualities, overall business acumen and people skills needed to be considered for a supervisory role.Job DescriptionEarn $28.25 per hour1st Shift , schedule TBD500 North Street, Windsor Locks, CT 06069DescriptionUnder the supervision of a Shift Manager, the Warehouse Lead will be responsible for directing the day to day hourly warehouse associates within an assigned AOR to achieve daily operational goalsLead & follow-up on team activities & drive accountability within their assigned WarehouseCommunicate daily expectations with team membersAttend daily, weekly and monthly supervisor meetingsAttend or participate in management training classes for leadership developmentCarry out assigned projects for leadership developmentCommunicate with other supporting functional groups within C&STravel Required: NoEnvironmentWarehouse : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)SkillsSpecialized Knowledge : Knowledgeable of shipping and receiving procedures and experience working in various warehouse positionsSpecial Skills : Read, write, operate MHE equipment (pallet jack), other required materials handling equipment (MHE), effective communication skills, team player, attention to detail, organizational and problem solving skills, Comfortable using technologyPhysical abilities: : You will be constantly seeing, hearing, sitting and handling paperwork.
