This isn't just a job, it's a chance to drive infrastructure forward, power innovation and leave your mark on our energy future.In the role of Real Estate Services Agent I, we'll count on you to:Provide pre-negotiation project, parcel and property owner due diligence and non-complex negotiations for acquisition of rights relative to public or private projects as assignedReview appraisals and just compensation; verify parcel on right-of-way plans or plats; verify property owners and the extent of interests; prepare offer packages; and maintain complete and detailed records/files with owner contacts, maps, drawings, exhibits and detailed progress reportsPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications* Familiarity with Eminent Domain, WI Statute Chapter 32* Available to travel anywhere in southwestern MN* Real estate license in good standing, or equivalent, as required by law* Database and GIS familiarity#LI-EV1Required QualificationsA minimum of 1 year of experience in real estate or 120 hours of documented real estate trainingAbility to understand and work in compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations specific to the real estate and right-of-way industry, such as the Uniform Act, FERC and NEPAProficient with standard technology tools such as Microsoft Office and ProjectStrong communication skills, basic understanding of negotiation and presentation skills, and ability to work flexible hours and effectively with people of all typesAbility to work confidently with clients, property owners and occupantsEffectively balance office and field work in a collaborative and deadline-sensitive mannerAbility to communicate effectivelyAvailability to work flexible hours and coordinate closely with managementWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
