Maintenance Technician (Evening, Full-Time)
JOB FUNCTION
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise in performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting is essential in helping us maintain a well-maintained and efficient environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete general preventative maintenance and repairs
Assist in maintaining a safe work environment
Complete scheduled tasks and respond to maintenance calls
Other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years old or older
Must possess a valid Driver's License
High school diploma or equivalent
Vocational training or relevant certifications in construction technology is helpful but not required
General electrical, plumbing, and building systems knowledge
Trade School or work experience in a mechanical field desired
PLC and VFD knowledge preferred
Ability to read and interpret work orders
General computer skills (diagnostic and administrative)
High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities
Basic math skills are required
Uses good judgement to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift items of up to 75 pounds
Must be able to climb stairs, bend, stand, kneel, twist, reach, and pull frequently
