This role is responsible for overseeing the financial health and accounting operations of a multi-entity organization while helping leadership make thoughtful, disciplined decisions around growth, investment, scalability, and long-term business strategy.Initially, this position will operate in both strategic and hands-on capacities, inheriting a significant amount of operational accounting oversight while also helping strengthen the company’s financial infrastructure for the future. The CFO will work closely with leadership to improve financial visibility, develop stronger reporting and KPI processes, support budgeting and forecasting efforts, evaluate operational and capital investments, and help build a more scalable accounting and finance structure over time.Success in this role will come from the ability to balance financial discipline with entrepreneurial growth. They should also genuinely align well within a faith-based, family-oriented culture where humility, integrity, hard work, and relationships matter deeply.Responsibilities Include:Oversee financial and accounting operations across multiple entities within The Hall GroupManage monthly close processes, financial reporting, and overall financial accuracySupport ownership and leadership with strategic financial analysis and decision-makingDevelop stronger budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting processesEvaluate profitability, operational performance, and cost accounting visibility across the organizationSupport capital investment analysis, debt strategy, cash management, and long-term financial planningHelp strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, and operational financial structureOversee banking relationships, audits, and coordination with outside financial partnersAssess current accounting team structure and help guide future finance and accounting growthSupport leadership accountability and operational decision-making through financial insight and reportingParticipate as a key member of the leadership team and future growth planning initiativesQualifications7+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experienceExperience in a Controller, CFO, or senior financial leadership roleStrong understanding of accounting operations, financial reporting, and business analysisManufacturing, operational, or multi-entity business experience strongly preferredExperience with budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, and financial planningStrong understanding of cash flow management, debt structure, and capital investment analysisCost accounting experience or exposure preferredAudit experience or strong audit exposure preferredStrong leadership, communication, and people management capabilitiesAbility to balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational executionERP experience required; Epicor experience preferredCPA preferred but not requiredHigh level of professionalism, emotional intelligence, and organizational discipline
