R & L Motors is an established, growing automotive dealership in Hickory, North Carolina, committed to providing excellent customer service and a smooth vehicle-buying experience. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join the team in a combined title processing and sales support role.Position summary: The role is responsible for accurate and timely processing of vehicle titles, registrations, and related paperwork, while providing administrative and customer-facing support to the sales team to ensure a seamless transaction experience. This position is on site at our Hickory location and will be Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. Auto Title dutiesProcess vehicle titles, registrations, license tag applications, title transfers, lien recordings, and payoffs.Review documents for completeness and accuracy and resolve discrepancies with customers, lenders, and prior owners.Submit required paperwork to the North Carolina DMV and other relevant agencies.Maintain organized electronic and physical records and ensure secure handling of sensitive customer information.Sales support and administrationPrepare and assemble sales contracts, buyer documents, and ancillary paperwork for processing.Enter and maintain accurate data in dealership management systems.Coordinate with finance, insurance, and inventory teams to support deal progression and vehicle delivery.Assist with inventory tracking, vehicle documentation, and lot organization as needed.Customer service and communicationProvide clear, professional support to customers regarding title status, registration timelines, and required documentation.Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, or in person in a timely manner.Marketing support (as assigned)Assist with basic social media posting and coordination of advertising materials under direction of management.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy in document handling.Effective verbal and written communication skills and professional customer service demeanor.Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and familiarity with common office software; ability to learn dealership systems.Valid driver’s license.Ability to obtain and maintain a North Carolina Notary Public commission.Work environment and benefitsSmall, collaborative team environment with opportunities to learn multiple aspects of dealership operations.Paid training and on-the-job mentoring to support success in the role.Competitive compensation and a stable schedule consistent with dealership business hours.R & L Motors is an equal opportunity employer.
