This role offers the chance to provide critical care in a dynamic hospital environment, ensuring the health and safety of women during some of their most important moments.In this position, you will serve as a hospital-based OB/GYN, working 24-hour shifts within a supportive and professional setting. You will be responsible for managing obstetric and gynecologic emergencies, including cystectomies and cesarean sections, utilizing your expertise to deliver excellent patient outcomes. This role is ideal for professionals committed to delivering high-quality care and collaborating effectively with a dedicated medical team.Required Skills:* Valid Kentucky medical license * Proven experience in obstetrics and gynecology, especially in a hospitalist setting * Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills * Ability to manage obstetric and gynecologic emergencies efficiently * Commitment to maintaining a clean background with no issues * Excellent communication and teamwork skillsNice to Have Skills:* Prior experience working in a hospitalist role * Bilingual abilities or additional language skills * Advanced certifications in obstetrics or gynecologyPreferred Education and Experience:* Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution * Minimum of 2 years experience in OB/GYN practice, preferably in a hospital setting * Current Kentucky state medical license or eligibility to obtain oneOther Requirements:* Candidates must have reliable transportation and be willing to drive to the hospital location (no airfare considerations) * No phone calls or emails please keep all communication on LocumSmart * Willingness to work 24-hour shifts starting December 31, 2025 * Cannot have any significant legal or professional background issuesThis is an exceptional opportunity to advance your career while making a difference in patient lives.
