Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Location: Neptune, New Jersey Assignment DetailsContract Duration: 43 WeeksHigh Possibility of Extension or Permanent PlacementGuaranteed Hours: 40 Hours WeeklyShift Type: Day ShiftSchedule: Monday - FridayHours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support both clinical and administrative operations within a busy Bariatric Surgery outpatient department in Neptune, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong outpatient clinical experience, excellent patient communication skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced ambulatory care environment. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare exam rooms, supplies, and instruments for patient visitsObtain and document patient vital signs accurately in EMR systemsAssist providers during examinations and minor proceduresCollect patient history and perform medication reconciliationPerform:EKGsPFTsAudiometryTitmus testingPhlebotomyUDS and BAT collectionsProcess insurance authorizations and support billing/collections activitiesSchedule appointments, admissions, and medical proceduresMaintain accurate patient records and EMR documentationProvide patient education regarding wellness, disease prevention, and follow-up careEnsure proper use and maintenance of clinical equipmentSupport patient screening activities both in-person and over the phone Required Qualifications Current CMA or RMA Certification requiredCurrent AHA BLS Certification requiredHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 1 year of clinical or ambulatory care experience preferredExperience with patient intake, vital signs, and medical documentation requiredAbility to work effectively in a high-volume outpatient settingStrong communication and interpersonal skills required For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.comor Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
