Job Overview: Position Type : Locum Tenens - Pediatric Physician Location : Near Bennett, CO Start Date : December 27, 2024 Shift Type : 24-hour call shifts (7a-7a) On-Call Requirements : Yes Weekend Requirements : Yes Open Shifts : December 27 (7a) - January 2 (7a) January 23 (7a) - 28 (7a) February 20 (7a) - 26 (7a) March 6 (7a) - 11 (7a) Job Duties: Call coverage for pediatric patients, including neonatal resuscitation and management of respiratory and infectious diseases in young patients. On occasion, attend high-risk deliveries and C-sections. No ICU coverage required; focus is on pediatric floor with higher acuity cases. Potential involvement with newborns; approximately 250 deliveries per year. Manage pediatric admissions, with 40-50 per year including emergency department admissions. Requirements: Board Certified in Pediatrics Required Active Colorado License Highly Preferred BLS Certification Required Must be comfortable with EMR systems, specifically EPIC . Candidates must complete EMR training modules prior to virtual training. Must be available for dates listed above and provide ongoing availability for future shifts. Must disclose the number of shifts you can offer each month. Clean malpractice and background record required. Credentialing : Fast-track credentialing available with temporary privileges possible.
