Job DescriptionTopre America - Smyrna, TNTEAM LEADS We are currently seeking multiple Team Lead(s) to join our growing team in Smyrna, TN!Please see description below and apply today!We look forward to meeting you and playing a part in fulfilling your career goals!We offerCompetitive PayGreat BenefitsOpportunity to Advance your Career GoalsTEAM LEAD - AssemblySummaryPrimary Duties:Coordinate daily activities within the Production Assembly departmentSupport Production SupervisorPrepare work schedules; react quickly and effectively regarding unexpected labor needsTrain and monitor existing and new team membersOffer input to Supervisor when appraising performance, addressing complaints, and resolving problemsEnsure team understands and works towards performance goalsRecommend process improvements within the departmentReview records for accuracy of information and compliance with established proceduresMaintain compliance to all company and customer policies and procedures (including safety)Help lead safety of all associates by doing audits, walkthroughs, and discussing potential issues with supervisors. Review and correct errors in daily production and quality recordsAssign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policyStudy and standardize procedures for improved efficiency of the teamPrepare reports for leadershipAssist in maintaining the 5S of the manufacturing areaFollow all plant rules and regulationsOther duties as required and assignedRequirements:High School Diploma or GED equivalentMinimum of two (2) years manufacturing experienceOne (1) year of Leadership requiredExperience in weld assemblies preferredPC literate with experience in MS Outlook, Word, and ExcelEssential Skills:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceAbility to comprehend and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram formEnvironment:To perform the regular duties of this role requires:standingwalkinguse of hands to finger, handle or feelreach with hands and armsstoop, kneel, and/or crouchoccasional sitting, climbing and/or balancinglift and / or move up to 35lbsregular exposure to moving mechanical partsCompany DescriptionSince Topre Corporation establishment in 1935, Topre has been advancing its core technologies, in particular automotive stampings and weld assemblies.
