Manager - Retail Food Services
Provides management and training for food production to the Culinary, Production and Retail teams on a daily basis ensuring smooth operation and the provision of quality service. Directs all employees involved in receiving and storage of food and non-food supplies. Works with all suppliers to ensure that all product specifications and contract pricing is met and maximized. Works with TUHS system standard team developing product specification for the TUHS Health System. Develops menus and recipes and prepares production schedules. Participates in policy decisions and overall management of the Department of Hospitality & Nutrition Services. Provides patients, visitors, and coworkers with outstanding customer service. Philadelphia Food Safety Certification required within 60 days after date of hire with valid receipt of payment in the interim.
Full Time Monday-Friday with rotating weekends and holidays.
Education
Bachelor's Degree Required or
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required
Experience
3 years experience in a management/supervisory role in the hospitality industry Required
Licenses
ServSafe Certification Required
Phila Food Safety Cert Required
