Position Overview A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) provides virtual mental health services as an independent contractor (1099). The role is fully remote and offers flexibility in scheduling, caseload, and work hours.Location: 100% remote (must hold active Florida LCSW license)Employment Type: Independent contractor (1099)Schedule: Flexible / set your own hoursPay: Commonly $60–$90 per session or hourly equivalentKey Responsibilities Most postings include some version of these:Provide teletherapy (video/phone) to individuals, couples, or familiesConduct assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planningDeliver evidence-based interventions (CBT, DBT, etc.)Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentationManage your own caseload and schedulingCommunicate with clients and (sometimes) interdisciplinary teamsProvide psychoeducation and support to clients/familiesRequirements Typical minimum qualifications:Active Florida LCSW license (unrestricted)Ability to work independently (no supervision provided)Experience with telehealth platforms and remote documentation systemsStrong clinical, communication, and organizational skillsReliable internet + private workspaceOptional / preferred:Experience with specific populations (kids, trauma, executives, etc.)Multistate licensure (can increase referrals/pay)Work Setup & Expectations Fully remote: Work from homeFlexible caseload: Often 5–30 clients/week depending on availabilityAutonomy: You control schedule, but must maintain client engagementPlatform-based work: Employer may provide EHR, scheduling, billing
