Project Engineer

In these roles, you will collaborate with experienced engineers on energy and utility projects including pipelines, facilities, and renewables. General tasks associated with this position include the following: Provide technical and design support for the development of projects (conceptual through final design and as-built projects) Provide project management on smaller projects Observe construction at field locations to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications Coordinate and support in the preparation and submission of required permits Support in developing technical designs or internal process changes to improve efficiency, quality, or performance Project task budgeting and implementation management Client interaction and support Survey data processing and database management Some travel required to participate in client meetings and visit project sites Education/Experience Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Petroleum Engineering Experience in oil, gas, or similar utility industry is required AutoCAD Civil 3D or equivalent: 5+ years (Preferred but not required) GIS experience in the Utility sector 5+ years (Preferred but not required) Experience with pipelines and utilities (Preferred but not required) Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel Professional Engineer or Engineer in Training certification Ability and willingness to learn and accept new responsibilities as experience is gained
