IT Help Desk Support

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Helpdesk Support professional to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional technical support and customer service to our users, ensuring their IT issues are resolved efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of computer management, software troubleshooting, and desktop support across various operating systems, including Mac OS. Responsibilities Respond to user inquiries regarding computer software and hardware issues. Provide technical support for IT-related problems via phone, email, or in-person. Troubleshoot software and hardware issues, ensuring timely resolution. Assist users with the installation and configuration of software applications. Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions in the help desk system. Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues. Provide training and guidance to users on software applications and best practices. Ensure all computer systems are functioning optimally through regular maintenance and updates. Skills Proficiency in providing Help Desk support with a focus on customer service. Strong knowledge of Office applications and Mac OS environments. Experience in IT support and desktop support roles is highly desirable. Ability to troubleshoot software issues effectively and efficiently. Familiarity with computer management practices and technical support protocols. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to assist users clearly. Experience using Remedy or similar help desk ticketing systems is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving user issues.
