Welder/Fabricator - TIG

Position Summary TIG Welder is responsible for a variety of essential tasks including basic knowledge in TIG welding. The ability to read and understand blueprints and measuring devices. General fabrication mechanics and knowledge of fabrication tooling. What You Will Do · Assemble/fabricate equipment and metal components. · Fit/weld according to drawing specifications · Follow supervisor direction. · Interpret blueprints, sketches, and diagrams. · Inform management of needed maintenance operations · Keep records and maintain inventory of the parts. · Maintain a neat clean work area. · Maintain punctuality and daily time records. · Observe safety reports and regulations. · Operate mobile cranes. · Produce metal products based on employer requirements. · Set up and perform welding operations. · Use basic hand tools. · Ready to work any other duty if assigned. · Comply with the health/safety programs. Meet or exceed expected production rates. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily. What You Will Need to Be Successful · Advanced skills with the knowledge in welding · Basic knowledge in fabrication · Flexibility and enthusiasm to perform a variety of tasks Physical Demands: · Frequent lifting of 50 lbs. · Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and standing for 8 hours per day.
