Supervisor - Facilities & MaintenanceAs a Supervisor - Facilities & Maintenance at AEO's Phoenix Distribution Center, you will be a key leader responsible for establishing and maintaining a best-in-class maintenance operation for our brand new 520,000 square feet facility. You will lead and coach a team of maintenance technicians to ensure all equipment, including conveyors, racking and material handling systems, operates at peak performance. This role is pivotal in establishing and maintaining a maintenance culture that is essential for successfully processing 25 million units weekly across two daylight shifts and two Evening Shifts.ResponsibilitiesLead and execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all facility equipment including conveyor systems, yard tractors and material handling equipment to maximize operational uptime and minimize unplanned downtimeProactively inspect the facility to identify and address potential problems, ensuring all systems are in a constant state of readinessPartner with operations and planning teams to develop and execute weekly maintenance schedules that support fulfillment goals and prevent service interruptionsBuild, coach and manage a high-performing maintenance team, fostering an environment of safety, accountability and continuous improvementDevelop and implement structured training programs for your team to build expertise in key areas such as PLC controls, forklift repair and electrical systemsConduct accident investigations and recommend corrective actions to maintain a safe working environmentMaintain meticulous records of all maintenance activities, work orders and equipment inventory in the MVP Plant system, ensuring compliance with established SOPsManage and enforce company policies and safety standards, actively participating in safety program development and committeesCoordinate on-site contractor work, ensuring projects are completed without disrupting operations and align with security protocolsProvide input into the development of the maintenance budget and monitor spending to ensure cost-effective operationsQualifications:A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center environmentA minimum of 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience, with a strong understanding of material handling equipment and operationsProven ability to coach, train, and develop a team to achieve performance goalsDemonstrated experience with preventative maintenance programs and working knowledge of PLC controlsStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence peers and senior leadershipProficiency in Google Suite and a strong commitment to accurate record-keeping and reportingPay/Benefits Information:Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.Subject to eligibility requirements, associates may receive health care benefits (including medical, vision, and dental); wellness benefits; 401(k) retirement benefits; life and disability insurance; employee stock purchase program; paid time off; paid sick leave; and parental leave and benefits.Paid Time Off, paid sick leave, and holiday pay vary by job level and type, job location, employment classification (part-time or full-time / exempt or non-exempt), and years of service.
