Request ID:68268-1 Title: Guidewire Policy Center (SME) Locations: ONSITE- Woodland Hills, CA/ LA, CA/ Remote Duration: 6 Months Experience Requested: 7+ Years Pay Range: $45.00-49.00/Hour on W2 (All inclusive) Applicant must be willing to work on W2.Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC) Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance to act as the domain authority across the full policy lifecycle. The ideal candidate will provide functional leadership, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure successful implementation of PolicyCenter initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the domain expert for Guidewire PolicyCenter, covering the full policy lifecycle: submission, quote, bind, issue, endorsement, renewal, cancellation, and rewrite.Review and validate design artifacts such as FSDs, BRDs, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.Identify in-scope and out-of-scope data aligned to PolicyCenter implementation scope.Determine historical vs active policy migration strategy, including lookback periods.Lead data migration governance from a PolicyCenter functional standpoint.Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data retention, archival, and compliance rules.Act as the functional owner of source-to-target mapping for PolicyCenter data entities.Analyze legacy policy data structures and mappings to ensure accurate migration.Ensure traceability from requirements to configuration and testing.Support release planning, cutover activities, and go-live readiness.Required Skills & Qualifications:Guidewire PolicyCenter expertise with hands-on implementation experience.Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance domain (Auto, Home, Umbrella LOBs).Experience with Agile & Scrum methodologies.Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.Familiarity with tools and artifacts such as Rally.Keywords:Digital: Guidewire PolicyCenterInsurance: P&C, Auto, Home, UmbrellaCompany Benefits & CultureInclusive and diverse work environmentOpportunities for professional growth and developmentComprehensive health and wellness benefitsAppreciate your quick response and please feel free to reach me out for any query you may have.
