Nuclear Medicine Tech Location: Atlanta, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,424 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, CNMT, ARRT Must-Have: - Previous experience in nuclear medicine - Familiarity with various imaging systems, including GE, Hitachi, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba - Proficiency in procedures such as HIDA Scan, perfusion studies, and thallium stress tests - Ability to start and maintain IVs - Knowledge of isolation precautions and handling radioactive materials Description: The technologist will work in a dynamic nuclear medicine unit. Every other weekend coverage is required. No on-call duties are expected. Floating within the facility and to outpatient areas may occur as needed. Minimal experience is acceptable; first-time travelers are welcome. Candidates will undergo a clinical review to assess fit and qualifications. The unit expects the traveler to be available to work on major holidays as outlined. Up to seven days of requested time off are allowed. Compliance with all requirements is necessary for a timely start. References from supervisory roles are preferred. Successful candidates will complete required modules during the onboarding process.
