Supply Chain Analyst

Supply Chain Analyst The Supply Chain Analyst serves as the primary contact for their assigned Principals and will assist our Principals, warehouses, sales, and internal departments in resolving any issues or inquiries.   The Supply Chain Analyst will successfully manage assigned Principals by consistently meeting KPI’s in a manner that provides customers with industry leading service levels while providing the company with an appropriate return on investment dollars.  The Supply Chain Analyst will also partner with other team members to explore opportunities for process improvements while instilling the company’s core values into the day-to-day operations of the department.Company Background   IMCD US is a leading global distribution partner and formulator of specialty chemicals and ingredients. Our commercial excellence and solid operations structure facilitate healthy growth. Successful Candidates Will Be Responsible ToManages Principals assigned and completely understands the rules, product attributes, Principal contacts, and major customersSuccessfully manages assigned Principals keeping inventory turns, service levels, and slow-moving stock within set KPI’sRuns analysis, as necessary, to confirm stocking locations and minimum order quantities are still appropriateUpdates forecasts monthly and proactively reaches out to sales on increasing/decreasing customer demandDevelops and utilizes sales models for “A” COGS itemsEnsures Principal Playbooks are accurateSubmits Principal expectations and On Time in Full revision summary monthlyEnsures reorder reports are updated monthly which includes moving demand to proper locations, updating lead times, and deleting irrelevant commentsFollows up on “C” item over order report and expired stock report consistentlyResolves conflicts by assisting team, warehouses, Principals, sales, and internal departmentsAssists other members of the team, as needed, to achieve department goalsDevelops and completes projects to improve processes and procedures as part of 90-day action items and submit updates weeklyUnderstands how job responsibilities affect other departments and how role affects the success of the companyParticipates in ongoing education to improve personal and job skills which includes attending monthly APICS meeting, webinars, cross training, etc.Attends and participates in department meetings and joint customer service meetingsParticipates in ongoing continuous improvement initiativesParticipates in annual physical inventories at warehouses, as neededCompletes necessary support work, as assignedSkillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills that allow for the development of strong relationships both internally and externallyStrong decision making, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.Ability to meet deadlines and goals by prioritization and effective time managementProven track record of supporting internal and external departments by making valuablecontributions as part of a teamProven track record of efficiently managing the company’s investment in inventory through strategic planningAbility to conduct business and compose oneself in a professional manner while working within deadlinesAbility to complete root cause analysis to fix problems and not symptomsExhibits ambition and willingness to learnOrganized and detail orientedRequired QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or 5 years of relevant experience Proficiency in ExcelERP Systems experiencedDesired QualificationsLean or Six Sigma experienceCustomer service experienceMember of APICS or ISMAPICS CertificationCompetenciesBusiness AcumenProblem Solving/AnalysisCustomer/Client FocusCommunication ProficiencyTeamwork OrientationSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis job currently operates on a hybrid schedule rotating between in-office and remote work environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position, and the hours of work and days are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise directed.
