Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Libertyville, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,384 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 9 Weeks Start Date: 5/11/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Nursing Specialty: Nursing Administration Duration: 9 weeks Shift: 12-hour Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 hours Experience: 2 years of experience with the full lifespan of patients (pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics) License: Active Illinois license Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and RRT (CRT also accepted) Must-Have: Candidate must have experience with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. EPIC experience is required. Technically required skills include tracheostomy care, nitrous oxide procedures, proning techniques, and critical care experience. Experience with ventilator-associated pneumonia prevention, spontaneous breathing trials, and arterial blood gas draws is necessary. Description: The position requires a respiratory therapist capable of handling a full range of patients from neonates to geriatrics. The role involves participation in critical care procedures and the implementation of therapeutic techniques. Candidates should have a solid understanding of the use of CPAP/BiPAP and transport ventilators. The facility promotes a 1:1 patient care ratio, ensuring focused and individualized attention. Additional responsibilities include collaboration with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive respiratory care. Full personal protective equipment (PPE) is available, including N95 masks. Weekend rotation is required every other week, with no on-call duties expected during the contract period. Holiday staffing needs may apply based on unit requirements.
