Apply via Dice today!Skills-We are seeking a highly experienced Payment Architect with a strong functional and business-facing background to support strategic payment initiatives.This role will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, and technology, ensuring that payment solutions are aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational needs.The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in payment domains (ACH, Wire, RTP, SWIFT, Cards) along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to drive discussions, gather requirements, and translate them into effective solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness & Stakeholder EngagementAct as the primary liaison between business, product, and technology teams for payment-related initiativesLead daily interactions with stakeholders to gather, refine, and validate requirementsTranslate complex business needs into functional requirements and solution designsFacilitate workshops, discussions, and decision-making sessions with cross-functional teams Define end-to-end payment flows and functional architecture across ACH, Wire, RTP, and card systems Provide domain expertise in payment lifecycle (initiation, processing, clearing, settlement, reconciliation)Required Qualifications10+ years of experience in payments domain with strong functional expertiseIn-depth knowledge of ACH, Wire, SWIFT, RTP, Cards, and payment lifecycle processesProven experience working in business-facing or functional architect rolesStrong experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and solutioningExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environmentsRegulatory & Compliance AlignmentEnsure solutions comply with NACHA, SWIFT, ISO 20022, PCI-DSS, and other regulatory standardsPreferred QualificationsExperience in financial services or brokerage domainFamiliarity with payment modernization and digital transformation initiativesKey SkillsPayments Domain Expertise | ACH | Wire | SWIFT | RTP | CardsFunctional Architecture | Requirement Gathering | Process DesignStakeholder Management | Business Analysis | Regulatory Compliance
