As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled trading and operations professional to become a cornerstone of our investment operations team.About The Role:We are seeking a Trading & Operations Specialist to support the investment and advisory team in managing trade execution, custodial operations, and billing workflows on a day-to-day basis. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role built for someone who takes pride in precision and operational excellence.As an essential part of the operations team, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all trading activity on the Charles Schwab custodial platform, manage rebalancing workflows in Advyzon, and ensure advisory billing and reconciliation processes run accurately and on time. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your work, and want to make a direct impact, we invite you to join our team.What You Are Responsible For:Trade Execution & Custodial OperationsExecute equity, fixed income, ETF, and mutual fund trades through the Charles Schwab custodial platform with accuracy and timelinessReconcile cash and security activity between Schwab and the firm's portfolio management system on a daily basisOversee account and security setup, ensuring data integrity and alignment with client financial plansAssist with trade settlement, cash flow management, and custodial documentationProactively identify and resolve trade or custodial discrepancies to maintain operational efficiencyPortfolio Rebalancing & Model ManagementManage and monitor rebalancing workflows using Advyzon or the firm's current portfolio management/CRM system; ensure model drift is addressed within firm guidelinesOversee account and model setup within the portfolio management system, ensuring accuracy across all client accountsCollaborate with advisors to ensure investment models remain aligned with client objectives and risk profilesBilling & ReconciliationProcess and reconcile advisory fee billing; identify and resolve discrepancies proactivelyEnsure complete, accurate, and timely information is reported for advisor payout and management reportingMaintain accurate books and records in support of the firm's compliance and operational standardsReporting & Advisor SupportPrepare and update weekly firm scorecards, performance reports, and management dashboardsCreate and deliver customized reports to support advisors and their clients, including portfolio performance and account summariesSupport advisors and their staff with trading-related questions, account maintenance, and ad hoc reporting requestsCompliance & Risk ManagementMaintain and improve documented trading desk procedures; ensure all processes adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policiesProactively identify operational risks and implement solutions to enhance the efficiency of investment processesAssist with data integrity projects, technology upgrades, and workflow improvements as the firm scalesWhat You'll Bring:1–5+ years of experience in a trading, operations, or billing coordinator role within an RIA or broker-dealer environmentDirect, hands-on experience with Charles Schwab Advisor Services (Schwab Alliance, PortfolioCenter, or equivalent)Proficiency with portfolio rebalancing and trading workflows; experience with Advyzon strongly preferredFamiliarity with portfolio management systems such as Orion, Tamarac, or Black Diamond; prior experience with any of these platforms will support a smooth transition into the firm's technology environmentStrong Excel skills — pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data reconciliation, and reportingSolid understanding of investment account types, security types, and trade execution processesFamiliarity with advisory fee billing processes and custodial reconciliationDegree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)Series 65 or Series 66 license (or willingness to obtain)Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProactive, self-motivated professional with excellent written and verbal communication skillsCollaborative team player who takes ownership and operates with a high degree of accountabilityWhat You'll Enjoy About Us:Competitive salary of $70,000 – $90,000 commensurate with experienceAnnual performance bonus401(k) with company contributionPaid time off and firm holidaysA collaborative, close-knit team with direct access to firm leadershipAnnual Team Offsite — An opportunity to connect, collaborate, and recharge with the full teamA clearly defined growth path for high performers within the firm
