Find your future with us.The Boeing Company’s Satellite Test and Evaluation organization is looking for an Infrastructure Solution Architect (Senior) to join our Special Test Equipment Support team in El Segundo, CA. In this position, you’ll contribute to the team responsible for managing IT Infrastructure supporting Special Test Equipment in factory and launch environments.The ideal candidate will lead with courage and passion with a focus to deliver results with excellence while living the Boeing’s Values and Behavior: Be adaptable, build positive relationships, build a successful team, and be a strong communicator. This position may need to be available on different days, nights, weekends, and alternate shifts may be required to support program objectives.Position Responsibilities:Interface effectively with multiple technical disciplines in a team environmentLead a team of engineers to execute the computing & data storage Infrastructure and Tools team scope of workProvides expertise, leadership and mentoring to the Infrastructure TeamWorks with the Infrastructure Manager to help transform the existing Test IT InfrastructurePlanning, design, integration, security, optimization, monitoring, migration and modernization.Assists in implementing best practices to manage server roomLeverages technical knowledge of infrastructure software and product security to maintain, improve, deploy and harden complex test infrastructurePlan and design hybrid infrastructure comprised of on-prem systems and cloud services.Lead the team to develop engineering documentation and processes to reduce waste and maximize repeatabilityWork in a hands-on lab environment with a variety of different types of test equipmentBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Experience with Microsoft Azure Certifications (Fundamentals, Architect, DevOps etc)10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience managing data center and large IT systemsExperience in Operating Systems: Windows Server, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise LinuxExperience with recent version of VMWare (ESXi and vCenter)Previous cybersecurity technical experienceExperience in Enterprise StorageExperience in DevOps cloud system designExperience with security considerations and compliance standardsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, or equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statementExperience in CI/CD and DevOps automated deploymentCisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification, or equivalent on layer 2 and 3 networking experienceExperience in Linux servers, Windows OS and network-based storage system.Experience in Satellite Test and STE Operations ReadinessConflict of Interest:Successful candidate for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage, and retain the top talent.
