Amazon, Amazon Flex, UPS, Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) delivery driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory As we grow, supervisory roles will be available Delivery Driver Benefits & Scheduling: 27.50/hour (paid biweekly) 10-hour shifts are typical 4-day workweek 40 is typical One weekend day is required. 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal break Opportunity for performance incentives and bonuses Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance (Note: Employees who work on average less than 32 hours per week are not eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance) Paid time off begins accruing immediately at start of employment Delivery Driver Key Duties & Responsibilities: Start and end your day at Amazon Warehouse WOL1. Successfully transport and deliver Amazon packages on time Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Amazon branded and non-branded vehicles. Follow all local & state laws, transportation guidelines, road/driving regulations, and Company policies Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction to Amazon customers despite stressful events / conditions Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift and lower packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; tilt, push and slide packages weighing between 50-70 lbs. on and off a hand truck without a helper on a frequent basis; maneuver packages weighing up to 70 lbs., using material handling equipment, or up to 300 pounds as part of a delivery team; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure Amazon deliveries are completed Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, accessing the Amazon Flex app to scan and deliver packages, conduct administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes Delivery Driver Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver’s license Must be authorized to work in the United States Must successfully pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position) Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills Equipment Provided: Delivery Vehicle & Gas Handheld technology with access to the Amazon Flex App Uniform Other safety and administrative gear necessary for job accomplishment Work Location: Start and end your day at Amazon Warehouse WOL1 (101 Gilder Way, Gypsum, CO 81637, USA) HIRING PROCESS takes approximately 1-2 WEEKS to COMPLETE.
