Responsibilities and level of ownership will align with the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain Java applications and servicesTranslate business and technical requirements into software solutionsDevelop and maintain APIs, backend systems, and application integrationsCollaborate with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycleParticipate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectivesTroubleshoot software defects and support root cause analysisWrite unit tests and support automated testing effortsParticipate in code reviews and follow established coding and security standardsCreate and maintain technical documentationSupport software deployments and production releasesBased on experience, contribute to technical design decisions, guide development efforts, and mentor other developersCompensation The salary range for this position is $115,000 to $150,000 annually. Actual compensation and position level will be determined based on experience, qualifications, certifications, geographic location, and the responsibilities of the assigned role.Avum offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical (Cigna), dental and vision (Principal), 401(k), PTO, education reimbursement, and certification reimbursement.Hybrid/remote work environment with potential on-site requirements based on contract needsActive Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one, consistent with contract requirements.
