Details Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a 226-bed non-profit community hospital with 2 procedure rooms and 5 holding bays for pre/post care Patient population includes cardiac diagnostic and intervention, implantable devices, EP mapping and ablation, vascular diagnostic and intervention, and interventional radiology EMR systems: Epic and Merge Schedule is 10-hour day shifts (0700-1730) No weekend rotation; weekends are covered by call only On-call requirement: approximately every 4th weekend (Friday 1700 through Monday 0700) Weekday on-call: one shift per week from end of shift until 0700 the following morning No floating required Requirements Active WA state or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required Proficiency in administering and monitoring conscious sedation Experience with patient assessment and clinical status monitoring in a Cath Lab setting Knowledge of medications used in the Cath Lab, radiation safety, infection control, and hemodynamic support Strong communication skills with patients, families, and the care team Two professional references from a supervisor or above (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, or equivalent) required prior to start; one reference accepted for initial consideration Additional Information Navy scrubs are provided by the facility First-time travelers will not be considered for this position American Traveler Job ID P-687147.
