Journeyman Electrician

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities: Remain well-versed in the current National Electrical Code Travel to work sites to perform installation, repair or maintenance work Work directly with clients and office staff Observe and test system operation using gauges and instruments Inspect systems to determine if they are operating properly Keep records of repairs and replacements made and causes of malfunctions Estimate and install materials and supplies needed to maintain equipment in good working condition Install electrical equipment and components for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) equipment Generate suggestions for improving work and develop innovative approaches and ideas Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of installing equipment or components Observe safety and security procedures; report potentially unsafe conditions Requirements: Clean Driving Record Reliable, friendly, honest, and motivated Strong time management and planning skills; able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Must be coachable, willing to learn new things, quickly adapt to change, and be flexible Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
