The successful candidate will be responsible for creating an environment that fosters student learning and support through an equity lens, overseeing operations related to instructional program and course development, and supporting the company's accreditation efforts and enrollment management strategies. This role involves ensuring the academic quality of all departments, participating in the formulation of strategic plans, and managing the division budget. The Vice President of Instruction will also be involved in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote student success and close equity gaps. Applicants for the Vice President of Instruction position at the company should have a master's degree from an accredited institution, with a doctorate highly desirable, and a minimum of 3 years of full-time teaching or faculty-related experience, along with 3 years of administrative leadership experience in higher education. The role requires a deep knowledge of higher education curricula and instruction, student support services, and student success. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading employees in a collaborative and participatory governance environment, as well as the ability to effectively manage budgets and resources.
