That is why we are dedicated to protecting and caring for vision every day.Position SummaryThe Ophthalmic Technician is responsible for collecting and recording ocular and systemic patient histories, visual acuities, BP, IOP, Auto refractions, Manifest Refractions, performing external examinations, and dry-eye testing, as well as disease specific extra testing. Travel between clinic locations and/or overtime may be required based on operational needs.Essential ResponsibilitiesCollect and document patient medical history and diagnostic testing results.Perform visual acuity testing, refractions, tonometry, pupil evaluation, muscle testing, visual fields, pachymetry, and dry eye testing.Conduct advanced diagnostic imaging and testing including corneal topography, retinal imaging, fluorescein angiography, and B-scan ultrasonography.Educate patients on post-operative care, medications, contact lens use, and exam expectations.Assist with contact lens fittings, in-office procedures, lasers, and minor procedures, including patient consent preparation.Maintain exam room cleanliness, sterilization, and overall clinic sanitation.Provide clinical support within scope of practice under physician supervision.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insuranceMatching 401(k) planPaid Time OffPaid holidaysEmployee discountCertification reimbursementCareer growth opportunitiesAbout Sight360We've assembled highly capable and credentialed multidisciplinary teams across ophthalmology, optometry, and optical retail services to deliver a comprehensive, 360-degree approach to vision care.
