About the Opportunity:The Reverse Mortgage Processor plays a critical role in the operations team by managing the loan processing lifecycle for reverse mortgage applications. This position ensures loan files are complete, accurate, and compliant prior to underwriting and closing. By maintaining clear communication and thorough review, the Processor enables timely approvals and successful loan closings, directly contributing to efficient operations and customer satisfaction.3. Responsibilities:• Process loan applications from submission through underwriting to closing• Communicate daily with loan officers, borrowers, underwriters, closers, AMCs, and title companies• Review, upload, organize, and label documents within the loan imaging system• Analyze credit reports, income statements, tax returns, assets, and payment histories• Clear loan conditions required for final loan approval• Maintain confidentiality of client files• Work independently and collaboratively under pressure to meet deadlines• Demonstrate professional communication with colleagues, management, and customers• Perform additional mortgage or company-related tasks as assigned4. Requirements:• Minimum three years of FHA processing experience preferred• Experience with reverse mortgage processing required• Strong understanding of mortgage lending regulations including TILA, RESPA, Reg B, and Reg C• Ability to exercise independent judgment and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• Target base salary range is 60,000 to 65,000 USD, based on skills and experience• Eligible for additional monthly production bonuses6.
