American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor

Derry Township Community Center is looking for an American Red Cross Instructor to add to their Aquatic Programming to teach Lifeguarding and other American Red Cross Courses. We are looking for professional, energetic instructors with previous experience to engage our students and offer a comfortable learning environment for both future employees, current employees, and members of the community. Looking for instructors to be able to teach, plan and organize a variety of classes including but not limited to Blended Learning Lifeguarding courses, Lifeguard Recertification Courses, Oxygen Administration, First Aid/CPR/AED, and other classes offered by the American Red Cross. Class times may vary dependent on program, instructor, and facility availability. Pay: Varies Schedule: Varies Weekend Blended Learning Lifeguard Classes: Friday Evening 4pm to 8pm | Saturday 8am to 8pm | Sunday 9am to 6pm Weekday/Weekend Blended Learning Lifeguard Classes: Designated time through the week based on pool and classroom availability up to 6 meeting dates. Weekend or Weekday: Lifeguard Recertification Classes Ability to commute/relocate: Hershey, PA: Reliably commute on days scheduled to teach. Experience: American Red Cross Instructor Certification with at least one year of teaching experience is preferred. At least one year of customer service experience. License/Certification: Must be able to provide your own liability insurance to teach. Must be able to provide FBI, PA State Police, and PA Child Abuse clearances to teach. Must be able to provide American Red Cross Instructor Certification. CPR, First Aid & AED Certification (Preferred, not required). American Red Cross Lifeguarding (Preferred, not required).
