Staff Accountant

Urban Infraconstruction is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our Finance Department. As one of the fastest-growing private companies in the industry, we are committed to innovation, precision, and excellence in everything we do-from preconstruction through project delivery.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.Prepare work-in-progress (WIP) schedules.Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting.2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.Strong understanding of GAAP and job cost accounting.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Viewpoint, Sage 300, or similar).Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
