Location: Monrovia, CAEmployment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-HireCompany: AdeptHRAbout The OpportunityAdeptHR is hiring a Wire Harness Assembler for a growing manufacturer of advanced Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) in Monrovia, CA.This is a hands-on production position focused on building and assembling the wiring and cabling used in UPS systems. You'll work from engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and visual references to produce high-quality wire harnesses and perform light soldering work.This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to transition to a permanent position after approximately six months of consistent performance.What You'll DoBuild wire harnesses and cabling according to engineering drawings, specifications, and BOMsMeasure and cut wire to required specificationsCrimp connectors and terminals onto wiresPerform light soldering of wire harnesses to PCB boards and other connectorsInspect and verify incoming materials before assemblyInspect completed cables and harnesses for accuracy and qualityIdentify acceptable versus poor-quality crimpsUse crimping tools, soldering tools, drills, and other hand and power toolsFollow written, verbal, pictorial, and engineering drawing instructionsPlan assembly work and maintain close attention to detailFollow established production and workmanship standardsWork efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentRequirementsWhat We're Looking ForAt least 1 year of related wire harness, cable assembly, or electro-mechanical assembly experienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferredAbility to read and understand engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs)Experience cutting wire and crimping connectorsAbility to recognize good versus poor-quality crimpsExperience with basic soldering is strongly preferredFamiliarity with different types of hardware and electrical componentsExperience using hand tools, power tools, and crimpersStrong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructionsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced production environmentBenefitsBenefits & Long-Term OpportunityThis position begins as a temp-to-hire role.
