Part Time - Receiver
The receiving clerk is responsible for timely, accurate receipt of produce, grocery, and miscellaneous items, verifying quantity and quality, and placing them in designated warehouse areas.They inspect products for weight, condition, temperature, and quality, accurately count items, tag products, and ensure proper rotation.All paperwork, including purchase orders and spoilage logs, must be completed correctly.Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, minimum of 2 years related experience, strong computer skills, effective communication, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills.Physical demands involve frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, occasional up to 80 lbs, and handling physical tasks like bending, pushing, pulling, and working in confined spaces.This role requires good vision, endurance, and the ability to work safely around machinery. Most decisions regarding quality are made independently, with supervision overseeing overall activities.
