Senior CNC Turning & Swiss Machining Specialist (Fanuc/Mitsubishi)
A day in this roleYou roll in at 6:00 a.m., power up a Hyundai WIA 2–4 axis lathe, and verify bar stock is ready to feed. The first setup gives way to a quick changeover on a Citizen Swiss lathe, where you dial in offsets, check tool wear, and read complex prints to validate dimensions. You move fluidly between Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls, making small program edits, updating MI (Manufacturing Instructions), and keeping parts within spec. Most Thursdays wrap at 4:00 p.m., with optional overtime typically offered on Fridays.Core responsibilitiesPerform CNC lathe setups and rapid changeovers with minimal downtime.Operate and monitor bar loaders confidently and safely.Run both Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls; make offset adjustments and minor program edits.Interpret complex blueprints/prints and apply GD&T to in-process checks.Follow and contribute to Manufacturing Instructions (MI) to maintain process consistency.Operate Hyundai WIA 2–4 axis lathes and Citizen Swiss lathes to produce precision components.What you bring10+ years of hands-on CNC lathe experience.Proven Swiss machining experience (required).Bar loader setup and operation expertise (required).Fluent blueprint/print reading (required).Comfortable on both Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls.Proficiency in CNC programming; deeper programming knowledge appreciated.A stable work history that shows long-term commitment.Experience with Miyano equipment is a plus; Hyundai WIA familiarity is a bonus.ScheduleMonday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Overtime is offered most Fridays.
