Housekeeping Manager

We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Housekeeping ManagerWhat will you be doing most days?Hire, train, and manage the work and evaluates the performance of the housekeeping team membersInspect guest rooms, meeting rooms, public spaces, and hallways for cleanliness and orderCoordinate cleaning and maintenance schedules according to guest needs, in coordination with front desk and maintenance personnelTrain and coach housekeeping staff in specific cleaning and room placement job tasks and in completion of daily schedules. Conducts new employee trainingManage the labor costs within budget standards and staffing guidelines for rooms sold.Follow facility safety and security guidelines, ensures key control, emergency response, safe chemical handling and proper chemical usage by housekeeping team members.Manage supply inventory and monitors storage procedureEnsure safe chemical handling and proper chemical usage proceduresDevelop work schedules and coordinates staff work assignments in conjunction with facility staffing guidelinesConduct regular tours of work areas, reviewing housekeeping efforts of staff and checking for productivity in completion of assignmentsEnsure that facility complies with brand quality performance standardsMaintain effective guest relationshipsEnsure staff compliance with professional dress and grooming standardsWhat are the requirements for this position?You are neat, organized, and efficientYou have strong leadership skills and take pride in leading my exampleYou have strong communication and customer service skillsYou know doing a great job can be physically challenging, but you are up for the taskYou value a job well doneYou take pride in presenting a spotless roomYou know how to pick the appropriate cleaning tool and tonic to clean just about anythingPhysical Requirements For This PositionThis is a physically demanding position.
