Let us know what makes you a great fit for the Kraftsman Krew.What We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for a motivated, relationship‑driven Sales Consultant who excels in a consultative sales environment and enjoys helping clients bring recreation spaces to life. You should be energized by building new partnerships, uncovering customer needs, and guiding clients through complex, multi‑phase projects. This role requires someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution while representing our products, values, and service standards with professionalism.What You’ll DoGenerate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building with municipalities, schools, HOAs, developers, architects, and commercial recreation clients. Conduct detailed needs assessments to understand client goals, site conditions, budgets, and project requirements. Present tailored product solutions, design concepts, and proposals that align with customer needs and company capabilities. Manage the full sales cycle—from initial inquiry and quoting to contract negotiation and closing. Collaborate with internal teams including design, project coordination, project management, and installation to ensure accurate and timely project execution. Maintain organized, up‑to‑date records of sales activities, pipeline status, and customer interactions within the CRM. Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events as a knowledgeable and enthusiastic ambassador. Stay informed on industry trends, product updates, and the competitive landscape to support strategic decision‑making and client guidance. What You’ll BringA strong ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and develop long‑term client relationships. Proven experience in consultative or project‑based sales, ideally within construction, recreation, outdoor equipment, or related industries. Confidence in presenting solutions, explaining design concepts, and guiding clients through multi‑step projects. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously. A collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams. Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory for client meetings, site visits, and industry events. Curiosity about industry trends and a proactive approach to learning products, markets, and customer needs. Must be able to cover a territory from Southeast Houston to Baytown and down to Corpus Christi.Preferred QualificationsExperience in commercial playgrounds, recreation equipment, site furnishings, construction, landscape architecture, or related project‑based industries. Familiarity with public procurement processes, RFPs/RFQs, and government contracting. Demonstrated success managing a territory or working in a field‑based sales role.
