Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer Location: Remote Duration: 6M Contract to Hire Description: Work hours (ex. 9am-5pm day/night shifts rotating shifts etc)? 8 am CST to 4 pm CST Please provide a summary of the project/initiative that this candidate will be working on? Develop and execute test strategies to ensure product quality Work closely with Development Team and Product Owner to test key product features Identify defects and track them to closure Recommend and implement actions to ensure our quality standards are achieved Ensure that user expectations are met during testing process Run automation scripts Document Test results Develop testing tools and frameworks following development best practices Set up, maintain, and operate automated tests Investigate problems/defects and communicate with the team What skills/attributes are required (please be detailed as to number of years of experience for each skill)? 3+ years of experience with software quality assurance and/or software testing 3+ years of Automation Testing / development experience Experience developing and maintaining quality automation code Experience with SQL (MySQL), UI Testing, and API Good knowledge about testing concepts and understanding of database concepts, OOP concepts, and solid in core Java skills Take a hands-on approach to implementing QA processes right from requirements analysis, test design, automation and analysis Experience Healthcare Domain What skills/attributes are preferred (what will set a candidate apart)? Health Care Experience testing experience with knowledge of EDI837 is key for this role. Of the required skills listed, which would you consider the top 3?
