Our mission is to achieve exceptional results for our clients, drive innovation in the practice of law, and pursue unparalleled excellence in everything we do.Purpose of the Role:We are seeking a diligent, team-oriented Associate to play a key role in all phases of mass tort litigation. This individual will work closely with experienced trial lawyers on high-impact cases that make a meaningful difference in clients' lives. This role offers significant hands-on responsibility, exposure to complex litigation strategy, and the opportunity to contribute to large-scale, coordinated proceedings from early case development through trial. Associates may be based in our Washington, D.C., Coral Gables, Florida, or Chicago office.Key Responsibilities:Evaluate and develop claims on behalf of injured clients, including factual and legal analysisReview and synthesize medical records, case files, and investigatory materialsDraft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memorandaManage written discovery and large-scale document review processesTake and defend depositions of plaintiffs, fact witnesses, and expert witnessesCommunicate directly with clients regarding case status, expectations, and next stepsCollaborate with co-counsel and national litigation teams in multidistrict and coordinated proceedingsAssist with trial preparation, including exhibit development, witness outlines, and case strategyAttend hearings, court appearances, and trials as neededQualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive U.S. bar license in good standing (Illinois, D.C., or Florida preferred, depending on office location)3-5 years of experience in complex litigationStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleaguesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience in mass torts, product liability, or personal injury litigationFamiliarity with multidistrict litigation (MDL), class actions, or other complex civil litigationExperience reviewing and analyzing medical recordsExposure to expert witness development and coordinationKeller Postman is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
