Salary range: $20 To $24 hourly.Work Hours (3rd Shift):Mon & Tue 5:00 pm - 5:00 amWed & Thur 9:00 pm - 5:00 amSkills & Experience:Operates the wire straighten and cut machineMust be able to work any shift and overtime hours when requiredMust be able to inspect small details of ground points visual, and/or by utilizing optical comparator to perform inspectionFocused on quality and production standardsHave solid mechanical aptitudePossess basic computer skillsPrevious manufacturing experience preferredMust be a team player and perform all functions of the position in a professional mannerYour Duties:Continuously monitors the output from equipment to ensure standards are metUses micrometer, calipers, digital microscope and magnifying glass and optical comparator to monitor needle point length and sharpnessSet up and operate straighten can cut machinesUse various hand tools to adjust equipment when necessary to meet quality standardsUtilizing caliper to measure and inspect wire blanks for straightnessAccurately fills out inspection and production formsCleans, oils, and maintains equipment to keep it operationalObserves and performs all safety and good housekeeping regulations of the department and the companyEndorses all company and departmental rules and regulationsPhysical Environment & Working Conditions:Must be able to function in a noisy environment and tolerate exposure to oil, grease, chemicals, dust, and heat up to 90 degreesMust be able to stand and walk for periods of up to twelve hoursMust be able to reach from floor level to a height of six feet to check equipment and make adjustmentMust be able to twist, bend, and stoopMust be able to observe the operation of equipment from a height of five feet to detect malfunctionsSafety glasses, hearing protection, and safety boots are requiredAbout AtWork:AtWork is one of the largest and fastest-growing recruiting companies in the US, with nearly 100 locations across the country.
