Position Type:Maintenance/Custodial/CustodianDate Posted:5/7/2026Location:Tussing ElementaryDate Available:07/01/2026The Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) is seeking interested applicants for Custodian - 2nd shift positions.This is a 12 month position, 8-hours per day.Work hours are 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm.QUALIFICATIONS:Applicant must possess a high school diploma or a GED equivalentPrevious custodial work experience preferredAbility to maintain care of buildings, grounds and equipmentMust have experience with operating heating and ventilating equipmentAbility to lift, push, pull or carry 80 poundsAbility to perform manual labor for long periods of timeKnowledge and/or ability to learn technical building systemsAbility to communicate effectively, clearly and concisely both orally and in writingDemonstrates aptitude for successful completion of tasks assignedAbility to assist principal/supervisor in creating a safe, clean, positive and comfortable environmentAbility to follow directions and a strong desire to succeedMust be friendly, dependable and exhibit a strong work ethicAbility to work well with students, staff and parents of diverse populations
