This role will serve as the primary point of contact for audits and will align internal processes to reduce risk, improve consistency, and strengthen customer confidence.Essential Duties And TasksQuality & Food Safety Systems OversightMaintain and oversee compliance with ISO 9001 and SQF standards across Fox Valley sitesEnsure alignment and standardization of procedures, documentation, and executionLead internal audits and ensure continuous certification readinessCustomer SurveysComplete and submit customer-required surveysEnsure internal procedures align with customer requirementsCustomer & Third-Party AuditsServe as the primary coordinator for customer and third-party auditsLead audit preparation, on-site support, and post-audit follow-upStandardize audit processes and communication across Fox Valley sitesCorrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)Own and manage corrective actions from internal, customer, and third-party auditsEnsure timely root cause analysis, implementation, and verification of effectivenessEstablish accountability and follow-up processes across sitesCertificates of Analysis (COA) & Documentation ComplianceStandardize and oversee COA generation, review, and accuracyEnsure compliance with customer-specific documentation requirementsImprove traceability, data integrity, and response timesRegulatory & Corporate ComplianceEnsure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements (food safety, packaging, etc.)Maintain and update quality and compliance policiesMonitor regulatory changes and communicate impacts to site leadershipGap Analysis & Site SupportConduct gap analyses to ensure compliance with food safety and certification standardsConduct corporate gap and compliance audits as needed – travel requiredSupport site-level improvements and audit readinessSupport corporate wide improvements and audit readinessGeneralVisit customers and suppliers when necessary.Responsible for all activities associated with internal and external audits.Monitor site quality and food safety metrics and develop counter measures as needed.Work with manufacturing to ensure product conformance through documented process monitoring and process controls methods.All other duties as assigned.Qualifications, Education And ExperienceBS Degree (preferred in technical area) plus five (5) years of leadership experience in Quality/Manufacturing or ten (10) years of relevant experienceComprehensive knowledge of concepts and principles. Prior audit experience and knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, GFSI requiredStrong data management skills preferred.Demonstrated understanding of fact-based decision-making and analytical processes related to quality management and process improvement. Effective coaching, training and facilitating experience.Solid working knowledge of quality processes and related manufacturingExperience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams, and OutlookMaintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.Exceptional time management and organization skills.
