Are you residing in the New Orleans area or have always wanted to live in NOLA?Do you have OT expertise or IT Desksupport Operations background on the manufacturing plant floor?NO third-party calls please!This is a long-term contract on-site M- Friday for an OT Tech with excellent communication skills to work with plant floor personnel and leadership abilities to collaborate on OT engineering operations for the manufacturing facilityThis role is Tech Support for Operational Technology (OT) systems in manufacturing; the hardware and software used to monitor, control, and automate physical machinery and production processes; must have knowledge of the OT Hardware and SoftwareiT2 is an SAP consulting firm, however, one of our SAP Clients has asked for our help staffing a new plant operations for OT Technical Lead role.You will be working onsite in the greater New Orleans manufacturing facility:Maintaining and troubleshooting IT and OT infrastructure, including hardware, networks, and communication systems. Specifying, designing, and implementing IT and OT solutions, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with existing systems.Implementing and maintaining security measures for both IT and OT environments, protecting against cyber threats.Skills to be successful:Familiarity with industrial settings, including safety protocols and operational requirements.• Experience in SCADA systems, PLC connectivity, or implementation of industrial automation solutions will be highly valued.
