Description Senior Cloud Engineer Location: Brickell, Miami, FL Work Model: Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week Role Overview The Senior Cloud Engineer designs, implements, and supports scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. This role partners closely with Architecture, Security, DevOps, and Application teams to deliver modern cloud solutions while ensuring reliability, performance, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on cloud experience and strong problem-solving skills in production environments. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using best practices for security, scalability, and resiliency Lead deployment and optimization of cloud services across compute, storage, networking, and identity Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows in collaboration with engineering teams Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure high availability Partner with Information Security to implement identity, access management, logging, and compliance controls Optimize cloud costs through capacity planning, automation, and usage analysis Support cloud migrations from on-premises or legacy environments Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and architectural diagrams Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on cloud initiatives Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, systems engineering, or cloud engineering roles Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Deep knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, compute, storage, and security services Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management Proficiency with scripting or programming languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar) Experience supporting production environments with high availability and reliability requirements Preferred Qualifications Multi-cloud experience Cloud certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent) Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Familiarity with monitoring and logging platforms (Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK) Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments Exposure to DevSecOps and security-by-design practices Work Environment Hybrid schedule: onsite 3 days per week in Brickell, Miami Hands-on technical role with direct impact on enterprise cloud platforms Collaborative environment with Architecture, Security, and Application teams Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.
