In this role, you will help create meaningful and engaging experiences for our residents by supporting recreational programs that promote social connection, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life.Working alongside the Activity Director, you'll play a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive environment where every resident feels valued, engaged, and supported.Key Responsibilities Assist in planning, organizing, and leading recreational activities based on residents' interests and abilitiesObserve and report changes in residents' mood, behavior, and participationCollaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support individualized activity plansConduct interviews with residents and families to better understand preferences and goalsSupport resident assessments and assist with discharge planning as neededSupervise and participate in community outings and special eventsSet up and maintain activity areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety of equipmentAccurately document resident participation and progressWhat We're Looking For Must obtain a C.N.A. CertificationCompassionate, enthusiastic, and dependable team playerAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentAbility to stand, walk, and move throughout the day, and lift 5–45 pounds as neededExperience working with the geriatric population required (nursing home or healthcare setting preferred)Must meet all health requirements, including required medical examinationsReady to Make a Difference?
