The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patient's pain management issues. We have several locations in Allentown and Reading area and the incoming PA/NP may be asked to provide coverage across both locations. Duties:Patient exam/evaluation to include medical history, relevant imaging/studies with a focus on pain managementPost-operative evaluationsPain management procedures (Operating the C-arm and ultrasound to assist with injections), including spinal cord stimulators and pain pumps, Botox admin for headache management, Medication management, including refilling pain pumpsAnswering clinical phone calls and assisting with medication requestsInterprets medical tests in the context of patient care and explains results to patientsCompleting administrative paperwork, including disability forms -Records complete, timely and legible medical recordsLiaises with other medical professionals related to patient careKeeps up to date with medical developmentsCoordinates care with physicians, medical assistants, nurses and other medical staffCollaborates with administrative team to optimize the Clinic functionalityRequirements:Graduation from an Accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner ProgramPA-C/NP Licensed in PAExperience in pain management preferredAbility to work autonomously and collaborativelySchedule:Full timeSalary:$120kBenefits:Health Insurance401kPTOMalpracticeThe mission of our company is that we are dedicated to restoring function and renewing our patient?s quality of life through a comprehensive and compassionate approach to treatment.
