Perform tasks related to loading and freight handling functions. You will be responsible maintaining high levels of accuracy and performance to meet the needs to our customers while utilizing safe work practices. You may work in other areas or functions of the warehouse, as needed.Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:1. Load merchandise in sealed boxes safely into trailers. -40%Follow proper lifting techniques to work safely.Ensure to utilize power equipment safely.2. Meet expectations on all areas of job performance (safety, quality, productivity, teamwork). - 20%Perform general housekeeping to keep work area clean and to ensure trash does not interfere with the operation of warehouse management system.Adhere to established federal/state/company safety procedures as well as company policies and procedures. - 20%Ensure personal and facility compliance with company requirements as it relates to PSE, Hazmat, HIPAA, etc - 20%Education:0 to 3 years - required3 to 5 years - preferredEssential Qualifications, Essential Functions & Preferred Qualifications:Essential Qualifications and Functions:Must be 18 years oldRegular and reliable attendance.Ability to read, write, and count accurately.Must be certified on all required equipment needed to complete the job task.Frequent standing, walking, and climbing stairs.Ability to lift 30-50 regularly and up to 75lbs with a team lift.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.Ability to process large amounts of data with high levels of accuracy.Must be able to work overtime and the weekends as needed to include high volume periodsProven ability to be a collaborator who is comfortable working in a team-based environment.Preferred Qualifications:Prior Warehouse ExperienceAbility to be certified on required EquipmentAnticipated Weekly Hours: 45Time Type: Full timePay Range: The typical pay range for this role is:$17.00 - $31.30This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
