Senior Payroll Accountant (Contract-to-Hire)Our high-tech client in the South Bay is seeking a Senior Payroll Accountant to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and brings strong expertise in full-cycle payroll processing and payroll accounting. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate payroll processing, compliance, and financial reporting while also supporting invoicing and cash applications.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess full-cycle payroll for ~200 U.S.-based employees using ADP Workforce Now (WFN)Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries in the general ledgerPerform payroll account reconciliations and ensure accuracy and complianceSupport 401(k) administration, audits, and related compliance activitiesManage invoicing and billing processesPrepare AR-related journal entries and perform reconciliationsCollaborate cross-functionally with HR and Finance teams to resolve discrepanciesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting (required)Proven experience processing payroll using ADP Workforce Now (WFN)Strong understanding of payroll accounting, journal entries, and reconciliationsExperience with invoicing, cash applications, and AR processesDetail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skillsImmediate impact in a critical accounting function
