Our company celebrates a proud family legacy of craftsmanship, innovation, and dedication to excellence. *Job Summary* Capel Rugs is seeking a dependable and hardworking *Braid Handler* to support our manufacturing operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring sewing stations remain supplied with materials needed to maintain production flow. The ideal candidate must be physically capable of lifting heavy materials, working in a fast-paced environment, and supporting general warehouse operations. *Essential Job Duties* * Carry and distribute 50+ pound bags of braid to sewing stations to maintain continuous production. * Retrieve and transport braided materials from inventory, storage, and prep areas using pallet jacks and manual carts. * Collect, sort, and return unused braid and scrap material to designated inventory locations. * Stage and organize braid by color, style, and order number to ensure sewing operators receive the correct materials. * Keep production areas, aisles, and walkways clear of materials and potential trip hazards. * Assist in the orderly maintenance, cleanliness, and general housekeeping of the warehouse and production areas. * Support inventory organization and material flow throughout the facility. * Crosstrain in other departments and perform additional warehouse and production support duties as assigned. *Qualifications & Requirements* * Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing *50 pounds or more*. * Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop, and reach throughout an entire shift. * Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Ability to anticipate production needs and help prevent downtime. * Self-motivated with strong attention to safety and organization. * Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred but not required.
